         True Comedy Podcast

Featuring Nicholas Finch and Kirstan Cunningham, this podcast takes a concept Nich developed
on his Facebook page where he ranked random things for the soul purpose of debate in Top Ten
format. Aside from Top Ten’s, the guys will discuss life issues in the most comical way possible
that two black men from Alabama can.

Twin States Podcast is the new mulitimedia platform that produces podcasts, and broadcast content for listeners in West Alabama and East Mississippi. Our podcasts cover all topics that impact the twin states. Podcasts are produced in our Studios in Livingston Alabama & Meridian Mississippi.

Our facilites handle up to 4 guests including phone interviews. We also have a studiocam at our Livingston location for a video podcast.

Kirstan Cunningham is gregarious and creative and is in his fifth recruiting for The University of West Alabama.

Cunningham got his professional start in student development and leadership working with the Y.M.C.A. where he would create programming for day camp and after school programs.

While completing his degree, he’d transition to the Admissions Office at The University of West Alabama to serve as an Admissions Counselor, recruiting North Alabama and Mississippi. During this time, Cunningham revamped the Student Ambassador program, developed social media channels, and helped with a rebrand.

During his years in Admissions, Cunningham has served in a variety of avenues, from social media coordinator, to coordinator of recruitment and orientation.

Cunningham currently serves as the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions. He recruits the West Central Alabama area.

Kirstan is an amateur chef, musician, and actor. His Instagram account showcases his favorite meals. His past shows include “A Midsummer’s Night Dream,” “Picasso at the Lapin Agile,” and “Eurydice.” A little-known fact, Kirstan once sang background for Celine Dion.

A Montevallo, Alabama native, Cunningham graduated from UWA with a bachelor’s in Mathematics & Theatre. He is married to Alexandria, a children’s book author, educator, and graduate of UWA.




                Episode #9 -  Games To Start A Fight
Nicholas J. Finch is an avid sports enthusiast and is in his second year as Assistant Sports Information Director at The University of West Alabama.
 
Finch got his professional start in print journalism as a Sports Editor in 2013 at the Choctaw Sun-Advocate where he would also help the entity expand into online broadcasting with the launch of “Sun-TV.” It was on Sun-TV where he hosted the Choctaw County Football Coaches’ Show and served as color commentator for the featured high school game of the week broadcasts.
 
He’d transition to the Demopolis Times in 2015 to serve as a Staff Writer, focused primarily on sports. During this time, Finch joined the broadcast team for the High School Football Coaches’ Show on WSLY ESPN 104.9 as well as provided color commentary for the WIN 98.5 Football Game of the Week.
 
Between each stop, Finch accumulated multiple Alabama Press Association accolades including four first-place honors in both broadcasting and writing.
 
Finch currently serves as the radio play-by-play voice for UWA Women’s and Men’s Basketball as well as internet stream play-by-play for UWA Softball. He provided play-by-play or color commentary for football, basketball, volleyball, softball and baseball on the radio and on internet streams at various points as a student here.
 
Nicholas is an actor and musician.
His past shows include “To Kill a Mockingbird,”  “Godspell,” “A Midsummer Night's Dream,” “Lavaloo,” “25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” “Ajax in Iraq,” “Down the Road,” “Addams Family,” “Smoke on the Mountain,” and “Death by Dessert.”

A Toddtown, Alabama native, Finch graduated from UWA in 2013 with a bachelor’s in Integrated Marketing Communications as the first graduate of the program. He is married to Whitney, a 2011 graduate of UWA.
